At about 1:40 a.m. on Sunday morning, authorities received notification of gunfire in the vicinity of Dixie Road and Eglinton Avenue East; it remains unknown whether the shooting happened within or outside the nightclub’s premises. Upon arrival at said location, police found an injured 19-year-old female who was quickly transported to a trauma facility but later declared dead. No other casualties were reported during this incident according to law enforcement officials.
