The Most Awkward Interviews In Hip Hop History

Interviewing rappers can be a challenge as they are known for being difficult. If the interviewer comes across too authoritarian, there is a risk of them shutting down and refusing to participate. Conversely, if the rapper makes an inappropriate comment or action during the interview – like Drake’s infamous blackberry freestyle in 2009- it could become permanently ingrained in their legacy. This video examines some of hip-hop’s most uncomfortable interviews where tensions arise due to one party acting out or when lines between appropriateness blur – leaving viewers to decide for themselves which scenario applies.
