The mamás were in for a treat when we asked them to try some delicious dishes from the island of Jamaica! 🌴 Among those tasty treats were Jamaican chicken curry patties which are a savory chicken pastry. Jamaica’s national dish, ackee and saltfish, was a favorite among the moms. Spicy jerk chicken was served with fried plantains and festival bread. The moms had some comforting oxtail with rice and peas, as well as curried goat with boiled dumplings. To end the meal, we served the mamas some sorrel and Jamaican black cake!
