Local Toronto rappers who promote gang culture through their music are receiving a clear message from the city’s police force – any shows or concerts they participate in will be blocked and shut down. This comes after an incident at a recent concert hosted by American artist Rubi Rose, where an affiliate of an organized crime group was shot and killed. This event resulted in numerous social media post from other gang affiliated mocking the incident. We can see why Toronto police refuse to allow this kind of activities to continue.
