As part of a drug investigation, the Guns & Gangs Unit of the Winnipeg Police Service carried out search warrants on December 3, 2023 in two residential areas – Braeside and River East. The operation led to three individuals from Ontario being arrested while more than $185,000 worth of drugs along with a firearm were confiscated by police authorities.
