Austin Maddox, a former pitcher for the Boston Red Sox, was taken into custody in connection with an underage s*x investigation. He attempted to rendezvous with a 14-year-old and was apprehended.

The sting resulted in the arrest of Maddox and 27 other individuals.

As the ex-MLB pitcher attempted to enter a residence, law enforcement officers laid a trap for him and carried out an ambush.

Maddox faced four felony charges, which included utilizing a computer to solicit a child and traveling with the intent of meeting them.

According to reports, Maddox made the comment “That’s young, baby. I could get in trouble for that” after discovering that he was messaging a 14-year-old girl. He then asked if she would stay with him all night despite being unable to drive due to her age.

Afterwards, Maddox acquiesced to a rendezvous with the girl and was subsequently apprehended.
