Jess Hilarious just got the boot from The Breakfast Club, and the craziest part? Her replacement is none other than the same woman she personally hand-picked! Talk about a plot twist.

“You try coming back to work, and a mf is right at your desk, and no one is telling you sh*t, mind you,” Jess vented, clearly blindsided by the whole situation.

Now, for the sake of time, I won’t break down her entire rant—but let’s get straight to the point.

Lauren LaRosa stepped in, put in the work, and won over the audience. She wasn’t just filling a spot—she was proving she belonged. Her deep industry knowledge, strong work ethic, and undeniable presence made her an asset to the show. She didn’t need gimmicks; she let her skills speak for themselves.

Meanwhile, Jess—whether she realized it or not—might have been banking on her name, personality, and contract to keep her secure. Instead of fully embracing the role, sharpening her reporting chops, and collaborating with Lauren, she got caught up in the chatter. Fans started favoring Lauren, and rather than using that as motivation, Jess leaned into the drama. She even pushed to have her own name removed from the segment’s intro—while keeping Lauren’s. And well… she got exactly what she asked for.

At the end of the day, this is just how the business works. Jess is undeniably talented, but radio is a different game. Hopefully, she bounces back and finds her footing in the industry. But as of now? Lauren LaRosa is locked in, and The Breakfast Club isn’t looking back.

What do y’all think—was this a foul move, or just business as usual? #TheBreakfastClub #JessHilarious #LaurenLaRosa #RadioDrama #EntertainmentNews
