Social Worker Sexually Abuses Boy, Shows Up on His Porch With Gun

Twenty-four-year-old Payton Shires now faces over 28 years behind bars after pleading guilty to multiple sex crimes charges. Shires was arrested in October 2023, after investigators found explicit texts, photos, and videos of her sexually assaulting a 13-year-old boy. Shires, who was employed as a social worker, was first introduced to the boy when she began counseling him.
