The Toronto Blue Jays are a Canadian baseball team that competes in Major League Baseball. Part of the American League’s East Division, the team was founded back in 1977, and has remained known as the Blue Jays ever since.
Currently the only Canadian team in MLB, following Montreal’s move to Washington, The Toronto Blue Jays would enjoy their most successful run in the early ’90s, when the likes of Roberto Alomar, Joe Carter, John Olerud, and Devon White would help them pick up, amongst other trophies, two consecutive World Series championships.
