Where are you from? Where are you based now and do you travel for shoots?

I’m born and raised in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. I currently live in Oxford, PA (Chester County Area), which is along the Delaware and Maryland borders. I, unfortunately, do not travel far, but I do model locally and also in the surrounding states – MD, DE, NJ, NY, WV, and VA.

Who or what inspired you to become a model?

Modeling is something I have always wanted to do! From a very young age, I dreamed of being in fashion, glamour, and modeling. I also always loved taking pictures. Endless pictures of everyone and everything, so photography in itself has been a huge passion for my entire life. I pretty much grew up with a camera in my hand and my mother always recording home videos of me.

I became discouraged through my teen years because I believed I was not tall enough to be a model, but after multiple photographers contacted me, I became quickly motivated to proceed.

How and when did you start modeling?

I started modeling 6 years ago. I was approached at a family wedding by the wedding photographer. That led to planning my first photoshoot and opened up yet another door, to another opportunity, which led to many more photoshoots.

What type of modeling do you enjoy the most?

I would have to say vintage and fashion. I love the vintage fashion genres and I love to dress up. Abandoned vintage art has to be my favorite!

What do you look for when deciding to work with a photographer?

Someone that is professional, upbeat, creative, and fun! Good communication skills are important too.

Which models or other artists currently inspire you?

Ana Perduv, Gal Gadot, Adriana Lima, Miranda Kerr, Alessandra Ambrosio,
Candice Swanepoel, Doutzen Kroes, and Veronica LaVery!

What would be your dream shoot?

A spectacular outdoor location! Something unique and truly epic!

How important is social media in your success?

Very! I mainly use Model Mayhem, Instagram, and Facebook, but it’s how you network and promote yourself, as well as all the people you work and create with.

What else do you like to do outside of modeling?

I’m a Licensed Cosmetologist. I worked in a salon for 8-years before I started modeling, and I also manage my own home studio, Elk Creek Studios, and I have a family.

What’s the best career advice you can give to new models?

Stay true to yourself! It can be difficult not to lose sight of who you are in this business. Avoid the drama. Stay as far away from it as you can. Focus on your path, your talent, and your goals. Don’t change your values or be pressured into things you are not comfortable with, and have fun. Love what you do, and the beautiful work that you create!
